COCO ROOM Terms of Service

Ritoa Co., Ltd. provides the COCO ROOM app and related services.

1. Use of the service
The service lets you view ROOMs, use avatars, chat and interact online. From a web browser, you can also join a ROOM or host the ROOM you have open. Minors must obtain a parent or guardian's consent when required by law.

In a ROOM group, all members are equal: any member can invite friends, change the group's settings and, depending on the settings, remove other members from the list. Depending on the settings, anyone who knows the group's invitation QR or URL may be able to join, so show it only to people you trust (the settings can require a member's approval). When the host leaves, participants are asked in turn whether they will take over as host. If you take over, your device hosts the room and the participants' IP addresses and similar information are revealed to you.

2. Accounts
COCO ROOM and COCO CHARA use a shared COCO account. Sign in with a Google account that you are authorized to use. Do not use another person's account.

3. Creations and submitted content
Rights to ROOMs, avatars, images, messages and other content belong to their users or other rightful owners. Make sure you have the rights needed to share content and follow the terms for each creation. We handle submitted content as needed to provide the service, review reports and respond to misuse.

4. Prohibited conduct
Harassment, discrimination, threats, impersonation, child sexual exploitation, inappropriate sexual or violent content, disclosure of personal information without permission, infringement of rights, fraud, spam, unauthorized access and disruption of the service are prohibited.

5. Reports and restrictions
Use the in-app report screen to report a problem. After review, we may hide content or restrict use in response to violations of these terms. False reports and misuse of the reporting feature are prohibited.

6. External services and communication
The terms of Google, Epic Online Services and other external services also apply. Joining or hosting from a web browser connects directly to the other devices, so it may not work on some networks or browsers. While you host from a web browser, keep that tab open: closing or reloading it, switching to another tab, or the screen turning off can disconnect guests or freeze what they see. A direct connection can reveal participants' IP addresses and similar information to one another (see the Privacy Policy). Online features may be interrupted by connection problems or when a host ends a session. Keep your own backups of important creations.

7. Changes and liability
We may change or interrupt the service for maintenance or other issues. We will give notice of major planned changes where reasonably possible. Our liability is governed by applicable law; these terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Account deletion
You can delete your shared COCO account and posts from the account screen. This also affects COCO CHARA. See the account deletion page and Privacy Policy for details.
